Abstract

In his artistic production, Dmitrij Prigov, a Russian poet and artist of the second half of the 20th century, managed to combine a vast range of media, permanently breaking boundaries between forms of art. Focusing on his theories and aesthetic strategies and giving some examples from his works of the 1990s, the paper examines Prigov’s particular idea of art on the borderline.
